The Boy Scouts of America is one of oldest and largest youth organizations in the US. Founded in 1910 "to teach [boys] patriotism, courage, self-reliance, and kindred values.". Though the phrasing has changed over the years, the overall mission of helping America's youth grow into ethical, independent adults who value helping others and their communities remains.

Ernest T. Seton and Lord Baden Powell were both integral members of the BSA at it's very start and their influence is still felt in modern scouting. The figures are installed at the Joe Crafton Sportman's Complex located within the Summit Bechtel Reserve in Glen Jean, West Virginia which officially became the site of the annual BSA Jamboree in 2013.
